You can install Endpoint on roaming client devices to protect them against malicious attacks. Depending on the number and type of devices and your security management setup, you can deploy Endpoint using one of the following:
- Standalone Deployment
- Windows Mass Deployment
- Mac OS X Mass Deployment
- McAfee ePO (ePolicy Orchestrator) Deployment
Endpoint supports dual-stack IPv4 and IPv6 DNS configurations, thereby protecting all devices regardless of their network environments. Endpoint in a dual-stack environment is able to proxy IPv6 DNS queries and forward them to BloxOne Threat Defense Cloud over IPv4.
Endpoint does not support IPv6-only environments.
Ensure that you review the best practices before installing Endpoint on your devices. For information, see Best Practices for Endpoint.
