To enable or disable services on an on-prem host, complete the following:
  1. From the Cloud Services Portal, click Manage -> On-Prem Hosts
  2. Select the on-prem host, and click  -> Edit.
  3. Expand the Applications & Services section in the dialog.
  4. Use the toggle button to enable or disable a service. Depending on your license entitlements, all available services are display in the SERVICES table.

After you have enabled a service on an on-prem host, you can also perform the following to start, stop, or configure the service:

Select an on-prem host and click the Service menu at the top action bar:

  • DHCP: Click Start to start the service or Stop to stop the service.
  • DNS: Click Start to start the service or Stop to stop the service. 
  • DNS Forwarding Proxy: Click Start to start the service or Stop to stop the service. Click Configure to configure DNS Forwarding Proxy. For more information, see Configuring DNS Forwarding Proxy
  • Access Authentication: Click Start to start the service or Stop to stop the service. Click Configure to add or remove access authentication profiles. For more information about authentication profiles, see Configuring Authentication Profiles
  • Service Logs: Click Service Logs to view or download logs for this on-prem host. For more information, see Viewing Service Logs

Note

You start a service when you first enable it. You will be able to start a service from the Service menu only after you have stopped it.
